Wonderful Halos Easter Crafts: Halos Mini Basket
Easter should be about spending time with loved ones, not stressing about what your kids are eating. Which is why we created our Get Crafty with Halos video series to show you how to make simple, sweet, and healthy Easter crafts that kids are sure to love. In this video, we’ll be making a Halos Mini Basket.
For each basket, you’ll need:
– one Wonderful Halos mandarin
– our template (download here)
– card stock (any color you like)
– 10” paper doily
– pencil
– paper baking cup
– Easter grass
– double-sided tape
– scissors
First, print and cut out our template. Trace it onto your card stock, then cut out the pieces.
Second, trace the semicircle template piece on the outside of the doily and mark where the edges end, adding about a quarter inch on both sides.
Third, cut an arch out of the doily that matches the card stock piece.
Next, tape the ends of the card stock together to make a ring and tape the doily piece around the outside of the ring.
Now, tape the ends of the thin strip of card stock together to make the handle and tape it to the inside of the basket. Then attach the remaining piece of card stock to the bottom of the basket for extra support.
Finally, place the paper baking cup inside the basket, add a little Easter grass, and plop in the mandarin.
And…you’re done! The Halos Mini Basket, a simple but memorable Easter craft that your kids are sure to love.
We hope you enjoyed this first video. Be sure to check out the other videos in our Get Crafty with Halos series, which show you how to make our Halos Bunny Pouch and Halos Easter Buddy.
