Halos ‘Peel The Love’ Valentine Printable
We’re happy to see that kids these days are still excited about giving and receiving thoughtful valentines. A lot of schools are really into the idea as well, now encouraging non-candy exchanges and healthy gifts. This time of year can be super-busy for parents, though, as they’re continuing to reorganize their homes after the holidays and starting to prep for tax season. If you are short on time this Valentine’s Day, but still want to make fun classroom gifts with your kids, then this is the perfect idea is for you!
Not only does this project require very little time to assemble, but it also uses very few supplies. Less stops for parents to make!
What you need:
Clear treat containers (these ones were purchased at a local craft store)
Free printable gift tag (download here)
Place the Halos mandarin into the bottom half of the treat container.
Before placing the lid on, thread the twine through the holes in the top and tie together.
Place the lid onto the base of the treat container.
Download and print the free printable leaf gift tag, punch a hole into the top, and then tie it onto the treat container using the twine.
Kids can sign the back of the gift tags before affixing to the Halos, practicing their handwriting and learning the art of sweet gifting. Parents and kids alike will love this healthy snack, and families can even reuse the snack container afterwards for everything from nuts to berries, trail mix or granola on-the-go. Make a few of these and keep them around to gift to all of the loved ones in your life. This could even be an extra-special way to brighten the mailman’s day or give the teacher something other than the usual apple.
After all, everybody loves Halos!
