Go Under the Sea with these Halos Fish
The sun is shining today! It makes us want to head for the water, but after school schedules are crazy. Having a little fun with our food and making these adorable fish mandarins is ALMOST like dipping our toes in the sand.
Watching the kids giggle when they discover fun snacks is a pretty sweet treat for any parent. This craft is actually easy enough, the kiddos could make it themselves!
What you need:
1 Halos mandarin
orange card stock
toothpick
glue
googly eyes
pencil
Fold the card stock in half.
Lay the mandarin on top of the card stock and sketch a fish tail approximately the same height as the mandarin. Cut it out, so you end up with two matching pieces.
Using the glue, attach the two fish tail pieces together with the toothpick in the center.
Insert the fish tail into the mandarin, and then attach the googly eyes to the mandarin with some glue.
These mandarin fish are perfect for pool party decorations or to take to swim lessons.
