Easter Egg Mandarins
Easter egg decorating is a favorite pastime of many families, but what can you do if the kids have allergies or you want an alternative that’s a little more…portable?
Easter egg mandarins!
Simply gather a bunch of Halos, some paint brushes and some paint. You can find non-toxic food-safe paint varieties at most craft shops.
Decorate to your heart’s content! Make polka dot Easter egg mandarins, zig zags, shapes and designs. You can even write your name or a little message on them.
This would make for a sweet surprise in a kids’ lunchbox. Lay out a bowl full of them at a spring party and bring a smile to guests’ faces. You could even have a play date and let the kids go to town decorating a whole bag of Halos! Bonus: with snacks already on-hand, the fun could last for quite awhile.
For a less-messy activity, pick up a bunch of stickers. Even the littlest kids can stick stickers on in a cute pattern.
What decoration will you pick for your Easter egg mandarins?
